Sweet Adelines Region 1 Competition

April 26th through 28th were spent in Springfield, MA at the Region 1 Competition.  Friday night the quartet competition took place, including the three quartets affliated with our chorus: Boston Accent, Treblesome and X-Factor.  The Boston Accent Quartet was named this year’s quartet champion.  The chorus competition took place on Saturday.  MetroWest took the stage around 12:30pm, performing “Mardi Gras March” and “That Tumbled Down Shack in Athlone.”  We are pleased that both our score and rank improved over last year.  It was an amazing weekend, showcasing such talented women.  Coastline Show Chorus and Millenium Magic were the chorus champions.  And our very one director won the novice director award.  Congratulation to all the participants and winners.  It was a great weekend!
